All CHS students heard from Trooper Pasture from the MSP and our own Officer Gaiser from Caro PD today about school safety, including sexting, cyberbullying, school threats, etc. Their message helped to educate and inform all students about how to protect themselves and others.
Another Pumpkin Festival in the books! We had a great time this last week; painting windows, placing pumpkins at the court house, eating Gibby's Fries, enjoying some yummy pumpkin pie, and getting our steps in by participating in Friday’s scavenger hunt around town. How did we get so lucky to have such amazing kiddos?
We are happy to share that our summer food service program was highly successful, with more than 47,000 breakfasts and 47,000 lunches distributed to area children! We went to Covenant Hills Campground last Thursday for some much needed team building and fun! We couldn’t have asked for better weather! It was so great spending time growing our group.
In Mrs. Hall’s Michigan History class, students studied the topography and geography of Michigan. They then used air dry clay to make 3D models of the state, to show the intricate coastline and varying elevations, especially between the Upper and Lower Peninsulas.
