The TTC February Workplace Readiness Award winners have been announced! Congratulations to Kadyn, Devin, Landon, Keeley, Alex, Benjamin, Gregory, Austin, and Tyler from Caro High School for outstanding performance in their respective programs this month! Keep up the great work!
High school choir members had the opportunity to join SVSU and 3 other High School choirs last week for their choir festival. It was a long day full of wonderful music making! Our Caro kids made us proud!
Our Youth In Government delegate was hard at work last week at the State Capital. Of their 26 bills written and debated, 13 were signed by the Youth Governor, CHS senior Ethan Ransford. In addition to governor, several additional CHS students served in leadership roles.
Caro junior Connor McGarry was able to achieve a career milestone last week. The junior scored his 1,000th career point in a 46-41 win over M-81 Rival Cass City. He became just the fourth Caro Tiger to break the 1,000-point threshold. Two games later, he became the school’s all-time leading scorer. For his efforts, he’s been named the Thumb Sportswriters Association Boys Basketball Player of the Week!
CHS was thrilled to host Representative Bierlein, as he was a former YIG participant himself. Thank you for encouraging our students’ civic engagement.
